One Day at a Time is a song very dear and important to me. I wrote this soon after I found out my Dad had cancer. It was unfathomable to me that such a strong, awesome guy, with amazingly deep faith, had to battle such a nasty thing. Though he showed amazing courage!
He fought hard, and in the meantime, encouraged my move to California and production of this EP with Michael Raphael at EarthToneSounds. Without my dad, I probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to create such well produced music.
Unfortunately we lost my Dad about five year in. He led an honorable, healthy fight…and I still miss him something fierce.
